Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a medicine originating in India and is part of the oldest preserved wisdom of mankind known under one name, "Vedas". In India itself, it is equivalent to allopathic medicine. Nowadays, more and more, it is finding its place and recognition of healing effects and procedures all over the world. The translation of the word Ayurveda clearly indicates its content - Ájuh means life and Veda, similarly to Slovak, means knowledge, science. Ayurveda is the science of life. It is based on the knowledge of the five elements (elements) and their properties, which we know in the human body as the three main energies under the name "dosha", namely Vata, Pitta and Kapha. They affect our physical, mental and emotional condition. If the doshas are balanced and all the functions of food intake and excretion are in balance, while the mind is also balanced and calm, we speak of a healthy person. When one of the doshas increases or decreases, or deviates from their natural representation, an imbalance occurs, which over time can manifest itself as an illness.

Ayurveda helps restore the lost balance and brings long-term health. He approaches each person individually and uses procedures proven over the years, which are exclusively of natural origin. The main principle of treatment is usually the adjustment of the diet, the change of some habits / bad habits, together with herbal remedies and therapies, there are also recommendations for suitable physical and relaxation activities. Many Ayurvedic instructions can be learned by oneself from the available literature, but for more serious and chronic diseases, an Ayurvedic doctor is essential.

Entry to the Ayurveda center is permitted only during operating hours with a valid reservation for persons over 18 years of age.

Ayurvedic diagnostics

Diagnostics takes place in the usual way as in India for thousands of years. It is a method called astha-vidyá paríksha. It is a diagnosis based on pulse, tongue, eyes, facial appearance, general appearance of a person and his reactions. An important part of the diagnosis is the determination of the patient's constitution and possible imbalance, using a questionnaire and acupressure points. Diagnostics determines the state of health, the cause of diseases and problems. The initial consultation lasts approximately one hour. Based on the findings, a specific procedure will be recommended to support the treatment of your health problems. The procedure may include suitable therapies, breathing techniques, natural nutritional supplements, determination of a suitable lifestyle, or a proposal to modify the diet.

Integrative medicine

Integrative medicine is a comprehensive approach to patient care that takes into account the whole person, not just the current disease, and emphasizes the relationship between the specialist and the patient. It includes both traditional and alternative options for medical care such as yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic therapy or nutritional counseling. It is based on finding the root cause of the disease, which is more effective and efficient than just treating the symptoms (preventing and preventing health problems before they develop). Adopting a healthy lifestyle, including proper diet, exercise and sleep, can help prevent future health problems.
